More than 5000 sites of historical or cultural importance have been identified, though only a few are open to visitors. Add Kakadu's magnificent scenery unique flora and fauna, and you have one of the world's greatest natural wonders. Tour companies offer a wide choice of tours to Kakadu, Arnhem Land, Litchfield and Katherine Gorge National Park. Four wheel drive and conventional rental cars are easily arranged. Let the experts show you around or pack a tent and go exploring - the choice is yours.
